David Lyons, simply the best as Sebastian Monroe

Sometimes an actor/actress will play a role that becomes legendary and no one could ever bring that character to life in the same way. 
Like Vivien Leigh was as Scarlett O’Hara in Gone with the Wind, so is David Lyons as Sebastian Monroe in Revolution. 

Monroe was a very complex man, ruthless and scary, broken and sad, a man who endured so much tragedy in an apocalypse world that he became just a shell of the man he once was. 

As Monroe he could scare the hell out of you and make you hate him, yet you felt sorry for him and loved him at the same time. David Lyons has a gift for performing complex characters; our drama grad has proven his talent in all his films. 

It is such a pleasure watching him make his way to the top and I would not be surprised to see him win an Emmy for his performance in the upcoming TV show Game of Silence. But I think it is the character of Bass Monroe that he will always be remembered for.
In the CCFB club we love David and support him in all his work. 

A man so talented and oh so handsome, David inspires people with his positive energy and kindness. His many photos with fans and his generous thank you letter to his fans that sent him birthday wishes show he cares and is an easy person to relate to. 

He is a man that lives and performs from the heart; he is always in the moment, a man who is so special it is hard to find the right words to describe him. You can see his beautiful soul through his sapphire blue eyes and his smile instantly warms your heart. 

In CCFB we are fans from around the world brought together for love of David and love of the TV show Revolution. In this club we are like a family ourselves, there is love and joy, it is a place that always cheers us and makes our day happy. And we know that it is David who spreads the joy around the world.

In his letter to fans he stated that he did not know what he had done to deserve such an outpouring of good wishes, we know David, and we want you to know, you make the world a better place just by being in it.
